Pick up at your hotel. We will meet at our meeting point to begin a trip out of the city of Huaraz. Our first stop will be the city of Carhuaz, known for its artisanal ice cream that we will have the opportunity to buy. Then, we will continue the path through the Huaylas alley between the mountains, until we reach the shore of Laguna Parón. Note: Here, we will find a place to use the bathroom before going to the lake to take photographs. Afterwards we will do an (optional) 25-minute uphill walk to have a panoramic view of the lagoon and the surrounding mountains such as Pisco, Pirámide Garcilaso and Artesonraju, among others. After enjoying the view and taking photographs, we will begin the return to our vehicle to make the 3-hour trip back to the city of Huaraz.
